About Balboa Park Club
The Balboa Park Club is operated by the San Diego Parks and Recreation Department and was constructed for the 1915 exposition for the state of New Mexico’s exhibits and later enlarged for the 1935 exposition. This is when the iconic fountain and mural in the grand foyer were created. The Balboa Park Club features two main areas for rental: The Santa Fe Room and the Ballroom. The Ballroom features 13,000 square feet of dancefloor and seats 500 easily. The Santa Fe room is a mid-sized banquet and meeting hall that can seat 80 in banquet and 120 in meeting style. Balboa Park Club can accommodate almost any event from a small corporate meeting or any large event.
