This beach has plenty of space for a big group and management here gives permits for all the things that make a company picnic exceptional.

We’re able to bring in catering equipment like wood smoke grills, utilize amplified sound, and set up inflatables right on the sand. Will Rogers State Beach is a prime location for any beach picnic.

We’ve hosted countless events at Will Rogers’ State Beach over the years, but there’s one in particular we’d like to highlight today. We planned a company picnic for Cartoon Network’s team at this beautiful location. Our team decked out the beach in bright colors and branded, personal touches. The day was full of games and entertainment in the sand, as well as personal, meaningful touches scattered throughout, like the Cartoon Network designs for airbrush tattoos and the branded event swag given away to guests. In short, this amazing picnic was made all the more special by the gorgeous, relaxing Will Rogers’ State Beach

What To Know:

Being one of the most popular beaches in Los Angeles, we’d advise bringing in security to check for wristbands on anyone entering your picnic or team building event. So, too, is it important to book in advance.

When planning a company picnic at the beach, there’s other factors to keep in mind as well. Wind can be all the more powerful coming off of the ocean, so we’ll need to anchor inflatables to ensure they aren’t blown away.

Tides are also important to keep in mind, as is bringing in shade. We always bring in tenting, umbrella tables, and lounge cabanas for a beach picnic so your guests can get some shade during the event. Will Rogers’ State Beach, being a large beach, is perfect for setting up all these amenities with its wide sandy stretches.
