There’s certain events that you know will change the world. Their missions move you and thrill you, and you simply feel awed to be a part of something so groundbreaking. NEOM’s gala and conference was one of these groundbreaking events. Their mission, as desalination experts, is to spread access to fresh water across the world. Our event, their San Francisco conference, needed to be as powerful as their mission.

We spent the days leading up to their gala and conference turning the entire venue into an engaging, interactive space with features designed to drive home NEOM’s mission. From the moment the guests arrived, walking through a 18’x6′ tunnel of seamless LED screens depicting waves crashing around them, they would be immersed in this event. We brought in countless more LED displays, covering the walls of the entire venue in ocean scenes. So, too, did we bring in event branded carpeting for the grand staircase and a 3d holographic entrance at the top. Every step of the way, the guests were reminded of the importance, and beauty, of water and the impact it makes.

During the gala, guests were treated to a living, breathing water fountain statue, as well as other beautiful visuals. From the LED panels covering every inch of wall space, to the deep blue lighting representing the sea, this event was a sight to behold. During this conference, speakers came to present the importance of clean water, as well as the other benefits of the desalination facility they planned to open in California. Guests were able to taste water from oceans across the world, all desalinated and purified by NEOM’s Saudi Arabian facility.

The event was truly unforgettable. Not only was the mission one which would change the world, but our impactful designs carried the message every step of the way. Best in Vegas

What better place for a crypto casino company to hold their incentive trip than the world’s largest casino city itself? This company, whose workforce is entirely remote, held their first-ever in-person company retreat in Las Vegas to unite their team, strengthen their bonds, and have a blast. We planned an unforgettable week-long trip for their 70-strong team, with unforgettable experiences, amazing food, and plenty of fun in Vegas.

We were thrilled to plan an unforgettable retreat for this company. We booked their hotels and set our sights on planning that week’s events. The retreat kicked off on a Sunday, and the first two days were spent mingling at some of Las Vegas’s greatest lounges for some seriously amazing food and drinks. On Tuesday, the team was treated to an indoor golf course, one of the most popular activities for any company retreat. Wednesday brought with it an amazing tour of a psychedelic and immersive art experience, which we enjoyed as much as the guests did. Each day’s events were planned to highlight the city’s unique experiences just as much as they were to grow the bonds between the team.

After fine dining, and an amazing party at a local night club, the crew was treated to a laidback day on Thursday. Their company wanted them to spend the evening bonding over their experiences together and enjoying each other’s company before the final day of the retreat. We could tell how much their company valued their virtual workforce, and how important it was to them that their team got the chance to bond together. On Friday, after one last breakfast together, we treated the team to some amazing team building games.

This was truly an event to remember. Once the guests were set to leave, we could tell they’d all grown closer than before. It’s always rewarding to bring any team close together, but especially a remote workforce such as theirs. Most Electrifying

XOS Trucks wanted one of the best event production companies in Los Angeles after a last minute vendor change. We had just two weeks to plan the launch of their latest fleet of electric trucks. This event needed to be every bit as electrifying as their fleet. XOS understands the importance of clean energy vehicles, as well as the importance of their presentation to the world. They wanted this launch to be unforgettable, and we were all-hands on deck to achieve that. Using our best product unveiling ideas, we were here to make this event extraordinary.

This event required tons of on-site event installation solutions, but our staff was eager to help. Firstly, the trucks were brought in, two amazing commercial fleet trucks, and then our crew set to building the stage for them. The stage we crafted on spot, anchoring the trucks and it together with plenty of roofing supports and trusses. Then, our crew set to work on the fine details: setting up loads of ulta-thin LED screens to use as projectors for this event, creating a hugging arch around the stage. Being in California, our crew also made sure the anchoring was strong enough to withstand any earthquakes while supporting these trucks. For this event, we also brought in loads of swag to further promote this launch.

As the event began, guests walked through a holographic XOS logo projected on water vapor at the entrance. This event was live-streamed, and our crew worked to ensure everything went just right. Once inside the venue, there was plenty of amazing catering options to choose from, as well as the swag table to check out full off kickoff event branded swag. After a stunning presentation of their latest fleet, XOS gave their guests free range to check out the vehicles or make their way to the lounge area for even more menu options. All of our catering was served on sustainable dishes and with sustainable cutlery.

The Big One

The way you introduce a new product or location can greatly help your company get attention. When you’ve worked hard for years and reached an important moment, it’s worth celebrating. Many businesses follow the same old routine, but if you want to be unique, you need imagination and vision (or help from the best event production companies in the States, like ours). For example, when Weber Metals wanted to show off their record-breaking press, they didn’t just do a simple curtain drop. They wanted to impress their international guests and press with something completely new and exciting.

And that’s when we stepped in. In order for our event production company best work to take place, we got to work creating a special unveiling that had never been done before, designed specifically for Weber Metals and their story. We spent months planning, editing, and preparing for this event, which lasted for several days before the big day. To start, we organized a private walk-through for local high school students. It was a chance for them to see the amazing science and achievements of the local forging company and get inspired.

Next up was the community day, where the families, friends, and neighbors of the employees were excited to explore the plant. They enjoyed rides, tasty fair foods, carnival games, and guided tours, turning the workplace into a fun-filled playground. As the sun set, there was a special penthouse party where important international guests mingled with Weber Metals’ leadership and partners. Everyone enjoyed a live band performance by Dana Fuchs and a spectacular laser show visible from the 30th floor above downtown Los Angeles!

The following morning, in the crisp autumn air, hot coffee steamed from silver chafers, sharply pressed linens danced in the breeze, and freshly baked bagels disappeared as the chatter from press, VIP, government, and leadership gathered at the cocktail tables between the blackened pipe and drape. In front of them, theater seating focused on the 40×40 foot 4K LED screens.

To initiate the proceedings, Joe “The Sandman” created art telling the story of Weber Metals. It was filmed and projected onto the LED screens in real time. The individual pieces of the celebration came together like the grains of sand forming a beach paradise. Speakers took turns at the podium with the Weber Metals blue screen behind them. Anticipation rose as the last speaker dismounted the stage and the lights were dimmed. All the focus now rested eagerly on the screen.

A film (awarded best production in Canada) designed and created specifically for Weber Metals played. Strong music with industrial undertones accompanied the cart as it was transported through time to the present day. The vault doors closed, only to open again as the screens themselves parted on tracks unveiling the larger than life press! See the full event unfold here. Best in Production & Technology

Event production involves a lot of technology, especially when it comes to tech-based companies. We understand that these events need to showcase innovative uses of technology to leave a lasting impression. Let’s look at the holiday party we organized for a local tech company as an example. It had all the traditional holiday decorations, like beautiful lighting and festive decor. But we took it a step further. We projected logos onto the walls, used uplighting to create a stunning ambiance, added pin lighting to highlight centerpieces, and, of course, made sure the stage had fantastic lighting and LED screens, so guests didn’t miss a single moment of the speeches.

Speaking of stage lighting, we flew in a special entertainer for this holiday party – straight from Vegas, the entertainment capital of the world. Known for his work in the famous Cirque du Soleil, Stephan Choiniere provided a performance that incorporated his impressive acrobatics with an interaction of a video projected onto the screen behind him. It was nothing short of magical!

We even had snow brought in to set the mood along with mini shooters of tomato bisque and grilled cheese bites hand passed on warm wooden cutting boards. Music drifted through the room dressed in holiday reds and blues. This is our standard for a winter celebration, when it comes to milestones that are once-in-a-lifetime events, we go all out.

Once-in-a-Lifetime

Imagine walking through your company’s 20th anniversary logo – yes through! This grand entrance is exactly what one group of employees was lucky enough to experience. The 3D holographic entrance was something out of a sci-fi flick! Guests stopped by this feature to snap a selfie, they wanted proof to show their friends and family this never-seen-before entrance. But we didn’t stop there! The venue was completely transformed with lighting, decor, and elegant centerpieces.

A live DJ ensured lively music kept guests entertained as they mingled together – chattering greetings and amazement. Wine glass engravers crafted one-of-a-kind souvenirs with custom messages. Portrait drawers, handwriting analysis, and VR entertainment stations ensured that there was no shortage of amazing memories to be had. Guests could play their hand at some of the most advanced virtual reality games and experiences.

The magician of celebrities was also present, wowing guests with illusions and witty commentary. It was his stage performance, however, that got the crowd roaring. With large groups such as these, it is vital that we film the proceedings to be projected in real time onto the larger screen – similar to that you see at concerts or sporting events – so that all guests can enjoy the show as if they had front row seats. Best in Virtual

One event that deserves an honorable mention is the virtual conference for Behr. Months of filming, editing, recording, coding (and more editing), and production to create the gold standard in virtual event production made for one fantastic event.

Attendees arrived at a special web platform designed around the concept of conferences. Animated “attendees” walked the grounds, “rooms” were created around the different components of the event, and pre-filmed segments were done both in home (using special equipment sent to their homes) and in studio, edited, and aired “as-live”. The result was a pandemic-proof event that everyone loved!
