There are 1,000s of small details to consider for every load-in of your event rental equipment and supplies. Details such as access point (up stairs or elevator, how wide/tall is the door/hall? Parking for staff and supply trucks? Electrical access points, staggering times for dropoffs, etc) Load-in sometimes all happens within the same day, other times we secure the location the day before – it all depends on the size, complexity and special considerations for the event’s specifics.
Strike is similar to load in, but in reverse. We have carefully cultivated special relationships with venues and event locations across the nation by our respectful approach to load-in and strike down. We like to leave the location in better shape that when we came, taking care to remove all traces of the event in a timely manner. Client Challenge/Objective:
To transform a large event space at the Hyatt Regency into a branded, personalized, and magical cocktail reception for DHL partners and colleagues following a conference. The event needed to blend the world of Formula 1 with DHL’s shipping specialty.
Solution:
A collaborative effort between Event Solutions, DHL, and Bright Partnerships created an immersive, themed environment from floor to ceiling. The solution included extensive event fabrication and branded décor, such as a racetrack-styled entrance with checkered flags, custom-branded GOBO lights, and a welcome booth with the motto “In the Fast Lane.” The entertainment included an F1 racing simulator game.
Results & Impact:
A perfect and magical evening filled with joyful and relaxed guests. The event successfully served as a fun mixer, providing the DHL team and their partners with a memorable end to their day and reinforcing the brand in a creative and engaging way.
