Celebratory Holiday Cheer

For the employees of Ziffren Law, many working days are spent representing multiple avenues within the entertainment and media industries while counting down the days until their Christmas party. This year the law firm wanted to do something extra special for their employees and came to us not only looking to plan their corporate party in Los Angeles, but to also incorporate the celebration of their anniversary. Our team began work right away on every detail from the logistics of booking the ideal venue, to planning delicious cuisine, and every detail in between.

The Venue Facility

On the brisk evening of Friday, December 7th, 2019, employees and guests of Ziffren Law became enchanted as they entered the colossal 4,000 square foot Casa Bianca at the Unici Casa in Culver City for their company’s anniversary and holiday party. As guests gave their names at check-in and checked their coats with an attendant, it was easy to notice that their eyes could not help but drift to the breathtaking Winter Wonderland scene crafted just for them. As the list of check-in names grew and grew, it soon became clear that the Unici Casa was the ideal size for the triple-digit guest count in attendance.

An Amazing Ambiance

From the multiple one of a kind hand-blown, Murano chandeliers dotting the ceiling, all the way to the custom-designed LED pin spots accompanying walls uplit by recessed LED color changing lights, one of the most incredible features of Unici Casa’s Casa Bianca is the dynamic use of ambient lighting. As the pin spot LED lights emitted hues of blue and purple, they were impeccably accented by soft-white snowflakes gobos projected from the ceiling onto the walls and staircase leading to the upper lounge. Along with the exquisite ambient lighting, guests were also treated to dazzling displays of festive holiday scenes across multiple LCD screens.

Dazzling Designs

On this evening, as the chandeliers showered guests in dimmed white hues, each of the Action Stations and the pewter grey iridescent covered tables were highlighted by votive candles. The decked out Winter Wonderland scene not only had guests visually hypnotized but audibly as well! Throughout the evening, two live DJ’s located in the VIP lounge saturated the venue space with full house sound. As guests chatted over cocktails, the DJ’s provided vibrant music while also providing an ambient background for guests as they dined on fine cuisine. The beat didn’t stop there! As guests finished eating, dinner was shortly followed by upbeat music and lively dancing from everyone. The playlist included current hits, past favorites, as well as requests for guest favorites.

Cocktail Reception

As guests arrived and anticipated dinner, they were encouraged to gather refreshments from the Unici Premium Bar. Guests enjoyed top-shelf spirits such as Patron Silver, Makers Mark Bourbon, and Jack Daniels Whiskey along with beer selections including beers such as Heineken or Amstel Light, and non-alcoholic beverages. Furthermore, Ziffren Law provided their guests with their own personal selection of wine! As guests connected over cocktail hour, appetizers such as macadamia crusted chicken lollipops with a chardonnay dipping sauce, tuna tartare miso sesame cones, and zucchini fritter bonbons with creme fraiche and olive tapenade.

1,2,3… Action!

After enjoying a lively cocktail reception, guests were treated to 3 unique Action Stations. Action Station One provided guests with an ale and maple braised short ribbed martini over garlic mashed potatoes and topped with beer battered onion strings. Action Station Two served a pasta toss which consisted of angel hair and penne pasta covered with a fresh roma tomato basil and pesto cream sauce and topped with sundried tomatoes, capers, wild mushrooms, artichoke hearts, and shredded cheese. Lastly, Action Station Three enticed guests with the wok box consisting of seasons chicken and marinated shrimp over fried rice and tossed with the guests choice of a spicy Szechuan sauce or a ginger soy sauce.

Winter Wonderland Treats

After dinner, the guests were able to enjoy another type of show within their Winter Wonderland. From beneath clouds of vapor, taste technicians were able to produce delicious flavors of ice cream, such as fresh strawberry, Bailey’s and coffee, chocolate smores, along with vanilla, for guests to choose from. Afterwards, guests were offered toppings of sprinkles and nuts. For those who prefer sorbet, a delectable lemon sorbet was offered as well. As the night progressed, it was undeniable that guests were thoroughly enjoying themselves. Nonetheless, this year was no ordinary Christmas party for the Los Angeles firm. They had one more surprise lined up for their employees.

Something Extra Special

In honor of their company anniversary, Ziffren Law wanted to give their employees a gift that was just as unique and extraordinary as they are; personalized wine glasses. Guests were able to personalize their optic stemmed wine glasses with a master engraver. This not only offered them a unique experience with their colleagues but also a gifted them with a truly one of a kind, heartfelt treasure.
