Fast Cars, High Stakes & Big Fun
We had the pleasure of hosting a company holiday party for a favorite Southern California-based sports equipment company this December. The party was hosted in Costa Mesa at Crevier Classic Cars, a classic automobile museum and active community for car enthusiasts and holiday party goers alike. The location served as the perfect backdrop for this sports-oriented crowd. But, it wasn’t all about the fancy cars.
About the Party
This casino-themed holiday party included high-stakes gambling, pool, prizes and more to create the ultimate holiday experience. We’re convinced this soiree was a success, and not just because of the top-notch catering and cheery vibes: our client recently celebrated their 50th anniversary of doing business in the United States, which gave them even more reason to truly celebrate.
Upon Arrival
Upon arrival, guests checked in at our festive registration table where event staff passed out casino play money. Already guests could see the classic cars memorabilia in the lobby. To add mystery and anticipation, the gift bags were used with the registration station decor.
Not much further into the venue, beautiful vintage vehicles line the museum space, creating a visually intricate backdrop for festivities.
The Dining Space
The open dining space accommodated 250 guests, with contrasting red and blue up-lighting and natural wooden seating. The venue had lightly decorated for the holidays with Christmas lights and garland. Our event designer opted for budget-friendly centerpieces that tied in the casino holiday party theme.
Christmas Centerpieces
These Christmas present centerpieces with faux playing cards and poker chips cement the casino theme, adding a fun twist to more traditional holiday centerpieces. It’s not always about elaborate floral arrangements or red and green decor; this party goes to show that touch of holiday creativity can go a long way.
Casino Entertainment
The casino and holiday decorations tied very well with the entertainment-based attractions: a gorgeous pool table, poker table, a double Roulette table, craps table, and of course, Blackjack tables, complete with play money and custom branded poker chips. Also, have you met our top secret agent professional Blackjack dealer? When he’s not busy participating in high-stakes combat wheeling and dealing in Las Vegas, he helps out at some of our swanky company Christmas parties!
Ready to test your luck? Here, guests got into the holiday (and competitive) spirit. We’d like to get in on a game next time, okay guys?
Winning an Appetite
All this excitement, gambling and smell of a freshly cooked meal was making us hungry. Eager guests ready themselves amidst the collection of custom and high-end luxury vehicles, as our servers present dish after dish to please all palates.
This platter of delectable torta rustica was a crowd pleaser. Delicate puff pastry, stuffed with creamy spinach, ham, cheese, and spices was the perfect way to satisfy a hearty palate if we do say so ourselves.
Great Prizes
Guests also enjoyed delicious chicken skewers, fresh salads, and of course, crowd-pleasing desserts. Attendees had several options, including decadent praline cheesecake, chocolate ganache cake, and rich raspberry cheesecake with a fresh raspberry swirl. A hosted call bar with both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages provided guests with much-needed refreshment throughout the evening. As the evening drew to a close, prize winners were announced while guests sipped on coffee and enjoyed the final bites of the evening.
We’re not sure who had more fun at this event: the guests or the team behind it! From the gambling tables with faux money and custom poker chips to the delectable dinner buffet, to the luxury automobiles so close you could touch them, this event was a true success.
