Health Fair Event Management

AltaMed’s Health Fair
Client Challenge/Objective:
To celebrate the grand opening of a new two-story medical facility in South Gate, CA, with a theme to “Grow Healthy” by hosting a large-scale event that simultaneously educated and entertained the community.
Solution:
Event Solutions planned a combination ribbon-cutting and Health Fair/Farmer’s Market right in the facility’s parking lot. The Health Fair featured educational booths from AltaMed and partners, along with fresh fruit and vegetable stations, complemented by tours of the new facility and large-scale games like a life-sized “Cavity Sam” surgery game.
Results & Impact:
A successful community event that drew attention to the new facility and educated future patients and caregivers. Attendees left with both new knowledge and practical takeaways (like tomato and basil seed packets) to “Grow Healthy,” effectively demonstrating AltaMed’s commitment to community wellness.
