1 Billion Reasons

Tower Jazz takes pride in the high-quality technology they produce and the services they provide to the consumer and industrial electronics industries.

They are a global supplier of chip technology used within cell phones, tablets, medical devices, and other crucial instruments.

It should come as no surprise then that this company’s CEO and employees wanted to properly celebrate in honor of such a momentous occasion.

When they told us about their milestone, we were more than eager and ready to help honor their success by planning and executing a wildly successful celebration that exceeded expectations.

The Anaheim Venue

Because of the go-big-or-go-home nature of this event, our clients needed just the right facility. This was tricky. There are tons of stunning event facilities in Orange County, but this one needed to meet several different, very specific qualifications.

It needed to be able to host enough people (the company’s U.S. headquarters is located here in Newport Beach), accommodate our on-site food prep philosophy, and offer a quality setup for some high-profile event performances (we’ll get to that later!)

Our client decided on the City National Grove of Anaheim, a stunning professional live music venue in Anaheim that can accommodate up to 4,000 guests! Luckily, we were only working with about 1,300 guests for this shindig.

Phew! Although, perhaps saying there’s “only” 1,300 guests isn’t entirely fair, given all the ins and outs that went into producing this milestone event…

The Gala

The evening began in true gala fashion – with fancy finger food, of course!

Tray-passed appetizers welcomed guests through the grand front doors and into the foyer.

Guests munched on antipasto skewers, made with fresh artichoke and cured meats, crisp and buttery brie & pear phyllo bites, and Bloody Mary shrimp to start.

It’s hard not to enjoy yourself when you have a wide selection of canapes floating around you at all times!

The Food

For the main course, guests enjoyed fresh, tender casino rounds of beef, accompanied by our pasta action station with a make-your-own-pasta menu! Fresh, garlicky Caesar salad rounded out the meal.

Sweet treats for dessert gave guests the opportunity to choose; choices included platters of freshly-baked cookies, brownies, and other assorted baked goods. Fresh coffee and hot tea were served alongside. And, let’s not forget the bar.

This client opted for full hosted bar service, giving guests the opportunity to imbibe to their heart’s content (responsibly, of course).

Meanwhile, our photographer was busy at work, snapping photos of employees and high-profile guests, this stunning event space, and the setup before officially seating all the guests.

Entertainment

Remember the aforementioned high-profile event performances? This event wouldn’t have been really celebrated their milestone without some genuinely stellar entertainment.

Sand artist, Joe Castillo, took to the stage first for a truly masterful performance.

Castillo is a rarity in the arts and entertainment scene.

Originally from Mexico City, this avant-garde creator began his artistic journey in his teens. He went on to attend art school; after graduating and working in advertising for several years, he discovered his passion and talent for crafting unique sand masterpieces.

AGT’s Lindsey Stirling

Despite his incredible creativity and knack for the extraordinary, Mr. Castillo wasn’t even our main headliner! That honor went to YouTube sensation and global phenom Lindsey Stirling. Her unique blend of violin performance, dance, and electronic music put her in a league all her own.

Sterling is a certified YouTube legend, amassing billions of views and over 7 million channel subscriptions. Formerly a contestant on America’s Got Talent; she was not selected as the winner during her run on the show. Good thing, too – this gave her the creative freedom to brand her music and style in her very own unique, distinctive way.

Currently, she is considered one of music’s most sought-after and innovative acts, having won the 2015 Billboard Music Award for Top Dance/Electronic Album.

Her performance was incredible and drew the evening to a close on a high note!

A Billion Reasons, and Then Some

Overall, this corporate event was a smashing success. It’s only right to celebrate our accomplishments in life, and this celebration certainly fit the bill and then some.

From the food and beverages to the stellar entertainment, to the stunning venue, guests were entertained and engaged throughout the night!

There were far more than a billion reasons to smile on this magical evening.
