Experience
Out-of-This-World Anniversary Party!
Our corporate event production company had the privilege of throwing a 150th-anniversary celebration for a top law firm, located in downtown Los Angeles.
And wow, was it out of this world! Literally… it was an outer space theme- perfect for any family-friendly event.
When you are planning a milestone event as big as celebrating 150 years, it should be a WOW moment for all your guests.
In this case, our client wanted to include their employees families as well in the celebrations.
We had the perfect venue in mind…
The Venue
When our event planners started planning for this important corporate anniversary party, we knew that we needed to get creative.
So when picking the right location, we wanted it to be unique, grand, and fabulous.
After visiting and touring dozens of event venues, we decided to pick the California Science Center.
The anniversary party was held in the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center, under the magnificent space shuttle Endeavour.

A spectacular and sophisticated event venue, like the California Science Center, means that our decor needed to be just as awesome!
Round tables were covered with metallic and textured specialty linens, with customized centerpieces.
We had beautiful orchids with funky and unique wired balls on top. We also brought in all specialized lighting, as well as pipe and draping.
One of the favorite parts about the event was our incredible outer space projections.
The walls of this event venue were covered with real photos of the milky way, and some even depicted the moon. I think it’s safe to say that people felt like they were really in outer space!
Entertainment That Reaches for the Stars
Once guests arrived, they were free to enjoy some of our amazing entertainers.
Our most popular entertainment was our interactive photo booth where guests could dress in props and take hilarious pictures with their colleagues.
Guests could also dance with our fun DJ, or get their face drawn by our talented digital caricature artists.
A favorite for kids, we even had a real astronaut on-site, doing an excellent presentation and answering questions.
Food & Catering: Action Stations
No party is complete without food! Our client decided to choose our “Food Action Stations”, which included a “Grill ‘Em Grilled Cheese Station” and our most popular, “Chalkboard Wall”.
Guests went up to a 6-foot long table to receive their delicious mashed potatoes, beautifully displayed in a martini glass, and then went to our chalkboard wall to find our delicious toppings of fresh chives, crumbled bacon, an assortment of cheeses, and sour cream.
Guests also enjoyed our Korean taco station, tenderly marinated tri-tip, and honey glazed boneless chicken breasts. And don’t forget the kids! To please the kids, we had a delicious kids-friendly menu, as well as a fun outer spaced themed drinks menu!
Company Parties Mean the World To Employees
The most rewarding part about throwing this anniversary celebration was to see how happy the employees were.
It meant the world to them to take a night off and enjoy great food, fantastic entertainment, and a beautiful atmosphere with their families and co-workers. And it meant even more to us that we made it happen!
