The
Experience
Sales Teams are the Backbone
Sales teams are the backbones of any company. They are responsible for driving sales, building and maintaining customer relationships, and ultimately, contributing to the company’s growth and profitability. Sales incentive trips are a great way to improve engagement, education, and help recharge members to continue to perform at their best. Our client for this case study is very much aware of the value of their sales team.
Cerapedics is a global ortho-biologics company. They reached out to us to plan their 2023 sales incentive trip following their meeting.
Our event would be two days, with an annual sales meeting and mixer the first day and an excursion to Coors Field for a Rockies game on the second day! For this event, we’d be using our destination management team to ensure every guest got to the seats booked for them at the stadium. Then we’d shuttle them from their hotel to the Cerapedics Colorado headquarters for the mixer.

A DMC Led Sales Incentive Trip
Company excursions and incentive trips like these are incredibly fun, but require plenty of prep-work and planning. We’ve become incredibly skilled at managing excursions for companies with numerous guests taking part over the years. We find memorable trips for teams are a great way to incentivize and reinvigorate them.
Our destination management company is incredibly adept at planning exclusive experiences at unique locations. We arranged for a bus to be ready for transportation from the hotel where the event’s guests would be staying to their headquarters for the mixer party by the event’s start at 5:00.
Our drivers would bring them back to the hotel after this mixer ended. Our guests would have some dinner and drinks, and play our classic lawn games. Then, the next day, at 4:30 PM, our drivers would take the guests to their ballgame excursion and return them to the hotel.
Onsite Mixer following Sales Meeting
Our event staff arrived at the Cerapedics headquarters in Westminster, Colorado, to begin setup for the event three hours before its start. We’d be having the mixer outdoors in the office’s parking lot. We brought in a catered bar, and our client had arranged food trucks for the guests to enjoy while they mingled. Our team set up lawn games to foster social bonding among their sales team.
The bus took off from the hotel at 5PM , arriving at the nearby headquarters shortly after. Every one of our staff, including our drivers, works together seamlessly for these events to make sure every event goes perfectly.
Cerapedics’ team spent that evening unwinding, getting to know each other better, and enjoying the food and entertainment. At 7:30, guests began making their way back to the bus. Meanwhile, our team began packing up the equipment from the day. We knew the next day would be an even more exciting one for Cerapedics’ team.

The Highlight Excursion at Coors Field
Our driver waited outside the hotel the following day at 4:30. The rest of our staff started heading to the Coors Field to begin preparations there. Our destination management worked efficiently, and by 4:40 PM, the idling bus kicked into gear and made its way towards the stadium. The driver left with plenty of time to spare in case of traffic or other holdups along the way.
When they arrived at the stadium, our driver parked in the designated lot and handed the bus pass to the attendant. The driver entered through our designated entrance and parked in the parking lot section we’d arranged beforehand. We’d booked suite-level seats for our guests, which opened at 5:10. We’d timed everything to ensure our guests were on time (if not a bit ahead).
Some of the sales team had decided to drive to the stadium. Our attendants worked to ensure they arrived and got to their seats without a hitch. We’d secured an entire section of the parking lot for our guests, and booked a suite in the stadium large enough to accommodate them all.
Exclusive Experience
We’d planned an unforgettable excursion for our guests at the ballgame that day. They’d be treated to the full stadium experience, ranging from snacks like popcorn and roasted peanuts all the way to fresh garden salad, queso and chips, chocolate chip cookies, and fried chicken wings.
The main course of the meal was BBQ pulled pork sandwiches and Colorado cheesesteaks. Guests had access to the stadium’s bar, as well, ensuring plenty of delicious mixed drinks for all who wanted them.
Cerapedics’ crew relaxed in their seats, snacking on delicious food and mingling. The first pitch took place at 6:40:00. From our balcony view, the game was tremendous. Our suite was full of buzz, lively as it could be. The game ended with a win for the Rockies, 6-4. We’d given our bus driver a 30-minute heads-up and, when we left the stadium at 9:00, the bus was already waiting and ready for guests.

Success
We, too, made our way back. Cerapedics’ sales incentive trip and meeting had gone swimmingly.
Our adept drivers had worked to ensure all 56 guests for the evening had gotten exactly where they needed to be, with plenty of time to spare.
We were confident that this was a trip they’d always remember, and we would too.
