We transformed a premier law firm’s headquarters into a sophisticated “Winter Forest” lounge, trading fluorescent office lighting for warm lanterns, pine-scented decor, and professional gaming. Even a surprise building evacuation—leading to an impromptu 18-flight “nature walk” for the whole firm—couldn’t dampen the spirits of an evening defined by calm leadership and festive elegance.

Design: The Winter Forest
The office’s modern architecture was softened with a rustic, woodsy aesthetic to create a relaxed, residential feel:
Natural Elements: 8-foot Manzanita trees in wooden crates and glass cylinders filled with acorns, ornaments, and rice lights brought the outdoors in.
Warm Illumination: We installed 365 feet of icicle lights and green garlands into the slatted ceilings, supplemented by open wood lanterns and dozens of LED votives to create a soft, golden-hour glow.
Textured Lounges: Burgundy velvet pipe-and-drape paired with taupe linens and burgundy lounge benches invited guests to relax and stay a while.
Entertainment
The entertainment was designed to be engaging yet refined, encouraging networking over high-intensity music:
The Casino Lounge: Professional Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette tables offered a classic “Vegas” entertainment experience within the calm of the forest-themed reception.
Strolling Illusionist: Joseph Tran moved through the crowd, performing modern sleight-of-hand and digital illusions that kept guests captivated during cocktail hour.
The Champagne Hedge: A “living” wall featured 124 glasses of champagne, refilled by an attendant, providing a sophisticated focal point for the reception.
Expert Management
True expertise is revealed when things don’t go according to plan. Between a last-minute insurance hurdle managed by our Senior Lead, Keith, and a mid-event building alarm that forced a full 18-floor evacuation via the stairs, our team never wavered.
Keith turned the evacuation into a coordinated “group hike,” keeping staff calm and informed. Once the firm returned to the 18th floor, the party resumed seamlessly—a testament to the calm, steady pressure we maintain behind the scenes.
