The
Experience
Immersive Design & Venue Transformation
The stately amphitheater and surrounding grounds were transformed into a cheerful, high-energy festival atmosphere using:
- 38 Seating Kits featuring sunflower centerpieces and vibrant garden linens to add a bright, welcoming feel to all guest tables.
- 13 Pop-Up Canopies to define the distinct entertainment zones, providing shade and visual interest throughout the event grounds.
- The Main Stage was utilized to host the professional MC/DJ and feature the President’s speech and prize raffles, anchoring the entire day’s festivities.
Food & Beverage
The menu was designed to be easy to enjoy during an active, outdoor event, focusing on popular picnic favorites and refreshing treats:
- Center Stage Spotlight Buffet (12:00 PM – 2:00 PM) featuring Mini Turkey Clubs, Angus Beef Sliders, and Veggie Sliders.
- Dessert Service (1:30 PM – 3:00 PM) with Chocolate Brownie Bites, assorted cookies, and Lemon Bar Bites.
- A dedicated Non-Alcoholic Slushies and Popsicles station was open throughout the event, offering cooling refreshments to all guests.
Entertainment & Activations
The focus was on fun, lighthearted, and highly interactive activities for staff and their families:
- Deluxe Field Game Competition Zone led by a professional Host/MC and DJ, featuring classics like water balloon toss, 3-legged racing, and Hippity Hop Horse Racing with prizes.
- Inflatable Game Zone with a fun, wild-west-themed Horse Jumper and the competitive Double Lumberjack Throw (inflatable axe throwing).
- Live Artist Stations including 4 Caricature Artists (with a corporate logo option) and an Airbrush Face Painting Station offering custom “Greek” stencils.
- Roaming Performers including two exquisite Living Statues utilizing Butoh dance techniques to provide elegant and unexpected interactions with guests.
- An on-site Petting Zoo offered a unique, calming activity that was a definite crowd-pleaser for all ages.
The Results
The AHF Annual Staff Family Fun Day successfully achieved its goal of celebrating staff and providing a high-quality, fun event for their families, delivering a memorable and highly engaging afternoon in a unique, historic setting. The seamless flow of activities, from the competitive games to the artistic activations, ensured every guest of every age found something to enjoy.
