The Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture is also a major part of the much coveted Golden Gate National Recreation Area in San Francisco. About FMCAC
The 13-acre campus of Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture is also the perfect setting for organized corporate events. Combined the 12 venues at the center offer about 75,000 sq. ft of event space with two theaters (437 and 162 seat theaters) and loads of parking space available.

The General’s Residence
The General’s Residence is a perfect venue for your outdoor corporate events like executive parties and corporate retreats. This venue overlooks San Francisco Bay, and guests can easily see Alcatraz and the Aquatic Park. The General’s Residence has an impressive dining room (59” x 34”) ideal for your corporate dinner parties, a ballroom (49” x 27”), the Funston Room (20” x 19”) and an exotic foyer.
This venue has a total area of 4,955 sq. ft and can conveniently cater for 400 guests. The dining room can hold 130 persons, while 110 people can dance unhindered in the ballroom. When you need to organize trade shows/exhibitions, corporate retreat, corporate parties, executive dinners, product launch, and sales conferences at FMCAC. Gallery 308
Gallery 308 was first a venue for Fort Mason’s maritime repair and trade shops. Today, Gallery 308 is a multi-purpose venue in Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture offering guests a magnificent view of both the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco Bay area.
This venue comes with 3,835 sq. ft of open floor space made of glimmering polished concrete, multifunctional blackout shades, and superb high tech lighting facilities. Gallery 308 will accommodate 430 people, and this venue is ideal for VIP organized events, corporate anniversaries, and corporate parties.
The Festival Pavilion
Known for being the largest event venue right on FMCAC, the Festival Pavilion covers an area of 50,000 sq. ft. This venue can hold as many as 3,800 guests. Also, your guests would be able to see the San Francisco Bay area as well as Alcatraz.

The Cowell Theater
The Cowell Theater is a 437 seater capacity theater with state-of-the-art amenities. This theater offers sufficient space for a variety of activities such as; presentations, training, and lectures. If you are desirous of renting a theater for your sales conferences where several audio-visual presentations would be made, then the Cowell Theater is one venue on Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture that cannot be ignored.
The Southside Theater
One other theater that is ideal for both corporate meetings and presentations at FMCAC is the Southside Theater. This venue comes with a proscenium and elevated stage with sufficient backstage room and wing space. This venue offers a world-class sound system and can conveniently seat 162 people. The theater is also accessible by wheelchair.
The Firehouse Events Venue
With an area of 1,188 sq. ft, the Firehouse is an events venue on FMCAC that gives guests a lovely view of both Alcatraz and Angel Island. The venue is fully rugged and is equipped with track lighting. Firehouse will hold 110 people in its theater and 125 people in the reception room. You can rent out this venue for your presentations and corporate meetings as well.
Other Breakout Options At FMCAC
At the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture, you also have Meeting and Activity Spaces which can hold anywhere between 5 and 50 persons. This breakout option is perfect for short sales meetings. Another breakout option that is perfect for meetings and conferences at FMCAC is the Sartle Library which can cater for about 40 people.
If you need to organize a cocktail party for executive members of your company at FMCAC, then the SFMOMA Artists Gallery is the ideal location. Also, at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture, there is the Chapel where your Christian employees can go to pray on the Sunday of your corporate weekend retreat.
