About the Marston House
The Marston House was originally built in 1905 for George W. Marston and his wife by internationally renowned architects William Sterling Hebbard and Irving Gill. The home became a museum in 1987 and is currently under the ownership of the city of San Diego. The Marston House Museum and Gardens is a popular venue for business holiday parties, corporate anniversaries, and company parties. The picturesque gardens are the ideal setting for an outdoor party and creates an amazing atmosphere, and the South Lawn, Formal Gardens and Oak Tree Area can each seat about 150 people. The Marston House Museum and Gardens has several rules that must be followed in order to have a party on the grounds. Event Solutions’ party planners have worked with the management of the Marston House Museum and Gardens on many occasions and have developed a special relationship.
The management of this incredible space understands that we know what needs to be done and restrictions there are in terms of the venue. Our reputation as a professional and respected event planning company means we know how to work with management even when the rules are stringent.
