Pacific Design Center – 8687 Melrose Ave., West Hollywood

Pacific Design Center

Also known as the Blue Whale because of its enormous size and blue glass exterior, the Pacific Design Center is one of the most versatile and exquisite party event venues available in Hollywood. The Pacific Design Center is loved by celebrities and organizations for gala events as well as lectures, retreats, holiday parties, exhibitions and much more.

Coordination & Management

Event Solutions’ LA party and event coordinators have developed a special relationship with  venues like the Pacific Design Center. Coordinating a corporate event is just the start. Management of the event is not just left to the day of coordinators, rather business events have invitations, RSVPs, catering arrangements, parking and travel logistics, registration, entertainment/performers and vendors to book to produce a successful event. Our event management team bridges that gap and works with the day of event planner to ensure your corporate event is a success.

Some of the amenities include:

  • 1.2 million total square feet facility with spaces for large galas or small corporate meetings
  • 750,000 square foot blue building opened in 1975
  • 450,000 square foot green building opened in 1988
  • 400,000 square foot red building that features two state-of-the-art artist’s towers and enclosed parking lot for 1,500 cars.

The Pacific Design Center is perfect for wedding receptions, movie premieres and almost any other event you can think of. The design is so versatile that the only limit is your imagination. Between your needs and requests and our event planner’s creativity, we can create an event that will be the talk of the town for years to come.

Events at Restaurants

Along with event venues, the center has two restaurants operated by the famous Wolfgang Puck as well as a branch of the Museum of Contemporary art. There are 130 showrooms as well that featured product lines from interior designers, architects and much more. When planning a corporate event or company outing at a restaurant, guest size and event goals are important. Restaurants without private banquet halls or rooms will limit your ability to make announcements, speeches and have fairly fixed seating sizes/arrangements.

Strolling slight of hand magicians

Having your corporate event at the Pacific Design Center and then dinner or lunch at the nearby restaurants is an option for those looking to change the design or event during the break time. Otherwise, we recommend simply catering your Hollywood event with plenty of hand passed appetizers and creative, design friendly options such as Strolling Tables or Food Walls.
