COVID19 has changed the way we look at the world. From Stay-at-Home orders to remote work, even how who we consider essential workers – it is no small thing to say our lives have changed. Here at Event Solutions, we want to help be part of the solution, not just for events, but for our communities as well.

Looking to the Future

Planning an event during uncertain times can be one of the most difficult decisions a person can make. Often these social functions are THE most looked forward to events of the year. So do you cancel and risk disappointment of many or postpone and wait to see what the future holds?

With COVID19 keeping many people isolated in their homes, social interaction is more vital now than ever before. The trick is to provide safe ways to bring people together that are fun and engaging. Virtual events are one way, but they are a substitute for the real deal. Eventually, people need human interaction.

Virtual Event Behind the Scenes Event Production

While we can provide virtual services and hybrid events (see ideas here), we know humans are social creatures who thrive on events like company picnics and holiday parties. So we’ve asked ourselves our industry – what can we do to help make social interaction safe again?

Event Solutions has been around the block a while. We’ve always put yours and your guests safety and health above all else. That is how we’ve provided events year round, even during peak flu and cold seasons, without any major illness resulting from our functions. How do we do it? With phenomenal hygiene practices that exceed CDC and even WHO guidelines for group gatherings.

But as serious as COVID19 pandemic is, we strive to do more. Already in effect, all new Sanitation Stations are provided at all events at no additional cost. We also are now providing additional sanitation staff armed with the best disinfectant cleaning solutions that are safe for use around food and children.

We have also ramped up our cleaning processes – which extend from the delivery trucks to the frequency of bathroom checks/trash emptying. Employees have been given guidelines for cleaning uniforms, aprons are professionally cleaned, and gloves/masks are provided. Hand washing is required at regular intervals by both employees and guests with announcements being made over the loudspeakers.

Additional entertainment will be provided to allow for closure and cleaning without disrupting your guest’s fun. And food has the strictest regulations of all, with buffet style serving provided by staff rather than open-for-all options. Lines will be reduced by additional stations spaced throughout the event and be marked at six foot intervals for personal space. Food preparation is now done in enclosed areas (tented or indoors depending on the nature of your event) with strict guidelines on cleaning cutting boards, stations, washing dishes and more.

We are a company that serves you. Our culture is that of fun, but we take the responsibility of your health seriously. That includes your physical and mental health.

During these trying times we urge you to remember that social distancing is not the same as isolation. Socializing can be done safely through a variety of means. Technology has made it so video chats are available as a phone call. Talking to a neighbor is safe from at least six feet. Get creative with communication by writing messages on the sidewalk, window, and more. Fight anxiety, depression and keep your mental health a priority.
