Event Description:The Cedars Sinai Annual Silver Circle event was held on October 23, 2006 at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles . As guests entered the museum a top a red carpet they were swarmed with flashing cameras by the paparazzi and greeted by a Joan Rivers impersonator who immediately wanted to know what designer they were wearing and who they arrived with.Once inside the front doors, guests were offered a choice of wine and a variety of exquisite tray passed canapés including Teriyaki Sesame Chicken Crisps with Ginger Strips, Smoked Trout Salad on Corn Cakes, Mini Fish & Chips Served in a small Paper Cone with Homemade Tartar Sauce, Goat Cheese, Sun Dried Tomatoes and Red Pepper Puree on Grilled Polenta and Smoked Salmon Stuffed Red Bee Potatoes with Dill Crème Fraiche.Guests were invited to tour the first floor of the museum and then head upstairs to the second floor for the cocktail reception.After guests dined on Traditional Caesar Salad With Shaved Parmesan and Garlic Crostini, Caprese Salad with Fresh Mozzarella, Basil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Grilled Chicken Breasts with a Portobello Cream Sauce, All Day Braised Veal Osso Bucco with Citrus Zest, White Wine and Natural Juices, Vegetarian Moussaka, Sautéed Green Beans with Toasted Almonds and Caramelized Shallots, Grilled Seasonal Vegetables Drizzled with Rosemary Olive Oil and Italian Rolls with Creamy Butter, a brief recognition program commenced.Guests were then asked to the Connor Pavilion on the 4th floor for dancing and dessert consisting of housemade Pumpkin Cheesecake, White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake, Chocolate and Almond Biscotti, Cappuccinos and Lattes.
